Keep 100% of Every Gig.
Every dollar you earn DJing is yours. ButterflyZ is the Atlanta DJ membership that gives you the media, education, contracts, and visibility to grow.
Talent Isn’t the Problem. Access Is.
Learning to DJ is the first step. Turning it into steady, well-paid gigs is where most DJs get stuck. ButterflyZ is built to help close that gap.
Where most DJs get stuck
- Learning alone from videos, with no feedback on your sets
- No clear path from practicing at home to performing live
- No pro photos, video, or press kit, so bookers pass you by
- Gigs going to whoever’s connected, not whoever’s ready
- Agencies taking a cut of every check you earn
What ButterflyZ gives you

Every Monarch membership includes a press photo shoot at Monarch Shoot Day and a 4K filmed set each year, by the team behind ButterflyZ Sessions. Here’s what that looks like.

Questions Before You Join?
DJs based in metro Atlanta. Every membership, including free Cocoon, is application only, and joining the roster requires an audition or live performance with ButterflyZ.
After you’re approved to audition, you can book your own ButterflyZ Sessions slot (we confirm it), or we’ll place you at VYBZ or one of our monthly events. Once you pass, you join the roster and choose your tier. Sessions auditions are filmed, and publishing one as an episode is at ButterflyZ’s discretion.
There’s no years-of-experience requirement, but you need to be able to play a live set for your audition. If you’re still learning the basics, keep practicing and apply when you’re ready.
Yes. On every gig, at every tier. Your full performance fee is yours.
No. Your membership doesn’t buy gigs. We give you the media, skills, and visibility that help you earn them, and we recommend Wings and Monarch members to organizers when they’re the right fit.
Through memberships, our events, and a production fee that clients pay on gigs we book or manage. It’s shown as its own line on the client’s quote and never comes out of your fee.
Absolutely. Book and manage them yourself and keep 100%, with no fees involved.
Choose yearly and pay for 10 months instead of 12. Wings is $250/year. Monarch is $650/year at the founding rate, and $950/year in future rounds.
The first 6 Monarch members pay $65/month or $650/year for as long as their membership stays active, including annual renewals. Future rounds open at $95/month or $950/year. If you cancel and rejoin later, you join at the current rate.
Press photos are taken at Monarch Shoot Day, held twice a year. Annual members join the next one, and monthly members join the first one after their 3rd paid month. Your 4K set is filmed at a ButterflyZ Sessions recording.
You can join the next one. If you can’t make either Shoot Day in your membership year, give us 14 days’ notice and we’ll book you one make-up session. Shoots missed without notice don’t roll over.
Wings can be canceled anytime. Monthly Monarch memberships require a 6-month commitment from your start date. If you cancel, you stay on the roster as a free Cocoon member.
Templates you’ve downloaded are yours to use, and your shoot media is yours to keep. The replay vault, new templates, and EPK hosting are available while you’re a paid member.
All genres. Whatever your sound is, if you bring the skill and the energy, there’s a place for you in the collective.
Your Career. Your Money. Your Collective.
